Overview
Shanghai Ballet’s production of Jane Eyre, choreographed by Patrick de Bana, made its UK debut at the London Coliseum in August 2013. The engagement marked the company’s first-ever performances in the United Kingdom and introduced London audiences to Shanghai Ballet’s artistic voice through a contemporary interpretation of Charlotte Brontë’s classic novel.
What We Did
We conceived and developed the idea of bringing Shanghai Ballet to London for its first UK performances, presenting the opportunity to the company and leading the engagement at the Coliseum. Our role included shaping the presentation strategy, coordinating international touring logistics, managing venue relations, overseeing production delivery, and supporting marketing and audience development, helping position the production as a major cultural debut in London.
