Overview

Published worldwide in Spring 2021 by teNeues, Free: A Life in Images and Words was the first published life story of Sergei Polunin. Combining personal writing with hundreds of images by leading international photographers, alongside rare family photographs and introductory texts by Dame Helen Mirren and Albert Watson OBE, the book offered an intimate portrait of one of the most recognised performers of his generation.

What We Did

We developed the project across both creative and commercial areas, helping shape the publication from concept to launch. Our role included appointing the publisher, refining the editorial concept, coordinating contributors, sourcing material, overseeing production timelines and helping position the book for release and audience reach. The project reflects our ability to translate an artist’s story into a compelling cultural product with value beyond live performance.
